Things that never where

Blogging is overrated, and these poems suck.

there are things

that never where,

inside our hearts,

and our minds.

Kings that died peasants,

and dreams that slept forever,

restless.

police officers that died,

still children.

musicians that never

sang,

lovers who’s heart never

broke.

Somethings

never where,

and all to often,

its what never was

that kills us.

the importunities of my heart,

the nail biting,

head scratching

longings,

nothing makes me cave

like a good poem,

or a woman,

or not having cigarettes

this is hardly

a life to live for

but,

son of a bitch,

if this isn’t what I asked for

Days now over,

moons shinning, waters freezing

better smile now,

the fish is caught,

question is,

for how long?

flailing in the water,

too small,

should we throw it to the river,

or should we hold on?

screaming now or never,

nows forever,

should we hold on?

Mornings waking,

head pounding, life is quivering

better smile now,

the deed is done,

question is,

for how long?

flailing at your picture,

not enough,

should I throw it to the river,

or should I hold on?

screaming now or never,

nows forever,

should I hold on?
